these mustache prints were silk screen printed during a workshop taught at my studio. the feather prints are in still in the works. the screen was made with an embroidery hoop and a fine mesh fabric found in the bridal section at a local fabric store. the design was drawn onto the fabric then white glue was painted on the areas that i wanted to block. after the glue set, a plastic scraper was used to spread/push the paint through the screen onto the surface of the paper. post office!
